Wesley Floyd Peschke

Wesley Floyd Peschke, 84, passed away in Leander, Texas on October 4, 2018. Wesley was born in Paige, Texas on January 4, 1934 to his parents Ben and Lillie Peschke. Wesley is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Peschke and his two children Judy Epperson, and Jerry Peschke (wife, Rebecca), son-in-law Sid Epperson, grandchildren Wesley and Jonathan (wife Tawny) Epperson, Naomi and Phillip Peschke (wife TeeJay), Pete Arellano, Jr. (wife Abby Sullivan) and child Aaron, Isahiah Arellano and his children Charli and Elijah, Mathew & Kinsey Arellno and their children Cortland, Cadence and Everly, Sarah Miller, Katie Albarado, Simon Armendariz and his daughter Ava and Mary Armendariz. Wesley was preceeded in death by Ben and Lillie Peschke, Odessa Norman (sister), Nolan Peschke (brother) and Kathleen Peschke (daughter-in-law). Wesley served in the United States Army and he and Margaret were stationed in California when their children were born. He was employed by Southwestern Bell and retired from AT&T Telephone Company where he worked for over thirty years. His passion has always been short term mission trips. He dedicated his time, money, and building talents, to building churches and orphanages under the MAPS program (Mobilization and Placement Services) for the Assemblies of God. He worked on over 150 projects over a 40 year time span. Special thanks to Samanta Lara who became a part of our family by providing exceptional care and love to both Wesley and Margaret. Services will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Bastrop First Assembly of God located at 609 Pecan Street, Bastrop, Texas 78602.
