Virginia L. Goertz

Virginia L. Goertz, 86, of Bastrop, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.

Virginia was born in Cibolo, Texas to Henry and Elsie (Lampman) Lehman on August 9, 1933.  She attended high school at Bastrop High School where she was salutatorian of her graduating class and assistant drum major.

She enjoyed playing the piano, bird watching, cooking and baking.

Virginia is survived by her children: Frankie Schroeder and husband, Ken; Rosie Whiteaker and husband, Bo; Donna Friske; David Goertz and wife, Ann; Vincent Goertz; Connie Davila and husband, Albert; Edie Goertz; George Goertz and wife, Cindy; Joe Goertz and wife, Stephanie and Neil Goertz and wife, Kristi; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two brothers: Daniel Lehman and Lee Roy Lehman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
