Victoria Louise Daniels

Victoria Daniels, 66, of Bastrop Texas, passed away unexpectedly on January 9 th, 2022.

Victoria Scalf was born on April 2nd, 1955 to George and June (Whitney) Scalf in Palo Alto, California. Victoria graduated from Menlo Atherton High School in 1973. She later studied at St Mary's College and received her Business Administration degree. Her graduation was a great day of celebration for the family.

Victoria worked in the dental industry for over 30 years as a registered dental assistant and managing the front office. She was passionate about caring for patients, and recently worked in the front office for Dr. Cole Smith in downtown Bastrop. Victoria loved the office camaraderie, joking with her co-workers, and riding on the office float at the Bastrop Light Christmas parade.

Victoria had a passion for adventure, after training she received her private pilot's license and took to the skies. She enjoyed skiing, surfing at Santa Cruz, yoga, jazzercise and shared her husband's love of the outdoors.

In 1985 Victoria met Roger at the Menlo Park library for a date. Victoria and Roger went on to be married for 36 years. They enjoyed traveling on RV trips with their dogs, boat; and loved being with each other.

Victoria had a caring spirit and generous heart which could be felt by those she encountered. She had a special gift of seeing the best in people and bringing out the best in them. Victoria was a loving wife, sister, and friend.

Victoria is predeceased by her parents George and June Scalf and survived by her loving husband Roger Daniels.

In addition, she is survived by sisters Elizabeth Flower and Kathryn Facciolla; brothers-in-law Ronald Flower, Joseph Facciolla, and Gary Daniels; sister-in-law Sandra Daniels; nephews Christopher and Jonathan Flower; nephews Matthew and Kurt Stumbough, Kyle Evan, nieces Lorin Casey, Abagail Marie Daniels, and two great nieces Lucy and Abbey Flower.

Services will be held at Bastrop Providence on January 28th at 11:00 am.
