Tina Smith, a deeply cherished soul, passed away on September 10th. Born in May of 1977, she lived a life creating joy and laughter. She is survived by her father, four children and countless best friends.
She spent her young life as a Marine brat enjoying the connections to her family in Guam, Hawaii and California. Her immediate family settled in central Texas during her high school years. She cherished several relationships from this time in her life.
Tina was never just an acquaintance or coworker. She made many lasting friendships from her many careers as a non-profit organizer, entrepreneur, a family crisis center advocate, the Head of the Smithville Chamber of Commerce, Bastrop’s Favorite Bartender, a CASA advocate coach supervisor, and a sales representative. Tina held her friends close and loved her community.
Tina Smith, a beacon of kindness and love, will forever reside in our hearts. As we grapple with the sudden loss of her physical presence, may we find solace in her memory and the love she instilled in us.
