Timothy Eugene Myers, 63, of Cedar Creek, Texas passed away in a motorcycle accident in Killeen Texas on, Friday, October 21, 2022. Tim was born on September 17, 1959, in Harlingen, Texas to James and Billie Myers. He graduated from La Feria High School. After Graduation, he started a career in the airline industry. In 1980 he began working at Southwest Airlines in Houston, Burbank, and Austin where he achieved the Servant Award. He retired in 2016 after 36 dedicated years. When Tim came to Austin in 2002, he met the love of his life, Kimberly Ellison. They were married on August 22, 2007, in Mazatlán, Mexico and have resided in Cedar Creek, Texas where they have built their life together surrounded by family and many friends. Upon his retirement Tim used his time to the fullest and developed a passion for furniture making. Selling his creations to client’s local and abroad. He enjoyed spending time in his woodworking shop at his home and working outside and playing with his three dogs. He had a green thumb and a knack for envisioning new ideas for his backyard. His back yard was his sanctuary. Tim and Kim loved to entertain and spent countless hours sharing their home with others and enjoying lots of laughs. Tim is survived by his wife, Kimberly. Mother Billie Kelly and husband Ken of Killeen. Father-in-law, Bill Ellison of Austin. Brother, Jimmy Myers of Killeen. Brother-in-law, Mark Ellison and wife Alicia of Dripping Springs. Stepchildren, Ashlye Bauerle Bays of Austin. Shane Bauerle and wife Lindsay of Dripping Springs. His grandchildren, the lights of his life who to them was known as Grandaddy, Brylee and Bryson Bays and Faith, Teagan and Emmie Bauerle. Multiple Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nephews and a Niece. He was preceded in death by his Father, James Myers and his Mother-in-law, D.J. Ellison “Oma” who led him to know Jesus, as his Lord and Savior. Which led him to being Baptized in 2017. In addition to his family, he is survived by his Southwest Airlines family, Warrenton family, Old Town Bar & Grill family and many friends who have become like family. To know Tim was to love him. He had a larger than life personality, voice and smile. He was a friend to all who he met. He was a stranger to no one. He and Kimberly loved to travel with their friends making lasting memories that will be remembered forever. Especially going to the beach. He always used to tell Kimberly “ I don’t care what beach I’m on, as long as I’m on a beach with you.” He loved to go to dance recitals, swim meets, football, baseball, volleyball and soccer games, as well as cheer competitions watching his five grandchildren do what they loved. Always cheering them on and pushing them to be their best. A celebration of life will be held on November 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Rosanky Baptist Church - 2160 FM 535, Rosanky, Texas With a reception to follow given in honor of Tim by his friends at Piney Creek Chop House at 1 p.m. - 703 Chestnut St, Bastrop, Texas BBQ lovingly provided by his dear friends who he met at Old Town and golf buddies Attire: “Tim Casual “
