Timmy Don Bush

Timmy Don Bush, age 63, of Bastrop, TX, passed away peacefully at his home in Bastrop on Friday, January 19, 2024.

Timmy (Tim) was born in Plainview, Texas to JA Bush and Nadine Solomon on December 28, 1960.  He went to school in Plainview, Texas where he graduated in 1979.  He married Brenda Donaghe in 2005 in Bastrop, Texas, where they owned and operated The Grace Miller, (Gracie’s) restaurant and Brenda’s 1441 Bar & Grill.

Tim worked for Aqua Water Corporation for 20 years as a Production Operator, Level 3. He was also a senior operator in charge of operating four water plants daily.

Tim loved fishing and going hunting and spending time with friends and family.  Tim was known for his willingness to help anybody in need, for he was a jack of all trades and wore many hats.

Tim is survived by his spouse and longtime friend Brenda Bush, and brother Jimmy Bush of Buda, Texas, and Uncle Rex Solomon of Lubbock, Texas as well as step children; Denver Donaghe (Rachel) & Lora Donaghe. Sister in laws; Karin Mayes, DeeDee Peddy (Gerald) and five grandchildren.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, JA and Nadine Bush.

The family of Tim wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Aqua Water Corporation, the One Oak Bar and his dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25th 10:00 am at Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas with the Memorial Service starting at 12:00.  The service will be officiated by Pastor Phillip Cole.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop.  Friends of the family are welcome to join us directly after the burial at Aqua Water Corporation at 415 Old Austin Highway, Bastrop Texas.  Guests,  please come through the side entrance.
