Thomas Edwin Lengel

Tom Edwin Lengel was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on November 23, 1935 to William H. Lengel and Ruth Boyer Lengel; the last of 6 children.
After finishing his education in Reading, Tom enlisted in the Air Force and served for 4 years. Using the G.I Bill, he attained a Degree in Architecture from the University of Houston, and then his Architecture License from the State of Texas. During his years of practice, he lived and worked in the Brenham area, and then finished his career in Houston. While in Houston he worked for GDS Engineers where he met his future wife, Joelle; and then with Exxon Chemical Company as a Consulting Architect and Project Manager.
His retirement years were spent in Bastrop, Texas, living in his Tuscany dream home that he designed and built.
Tom is survived by his wife, Joelle; son, Thomas; daughter, Felicia; son, Scott Prince; and daughter, Kim Schmitt; brother Hank, 7 grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no services as Tom has requested to be interred in Reading, Pennsylvania, next to his parents.
