Sherry Mae Mullin Lessmann was born on July 23rd, 1956 in Houston, Texas to Delbert Elton and Shirley Ann Mullin. She went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones in Garfield, Texas. Sherry married Daryl Lessmann on October 15, 1988; they resided in Garfield, Texas and raised two sons. In 1985, they moved to Garfield, off of the Colorado River. MawMaw or Mama Sherry as many of us knew her as, was given the title "mother-of-the-neighborhood". Daryl and Sherry built their own mobile home repair business from the ground up. Years into their business, they were able to build a community in Garfield, Texas called 3 T's, named after their first 3 grandchildren. Sherry didn't know a stranger, she spoke to everyone. She was the most giving person, but at the same time a no nonsense type of gal. Sherry donated and enjoyed helping with the Haynie Chapel Fall fest. She is survived by husband Daryl Lessmann; 2 sons John Gear and Jody Grimmer and fiancé Patricia; daughter Sherry Gear; 9 grandchildren, Ty, Trina, Tristan, Casey, Tanner, Corey, Trace, Cade and Jaxson; 1 great granddaughter Tayia-Lee; siblings, Roger Mullin and wife Christine, Deborah Dutton from Conroe, Rayna Collard from Grangerland, Jean Lauver and husband Jimmy from Dayton, Michelle Mullin from Grangerland; sister in law Brenda Harris and husband Steve from Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Sherry is preceded in death by her parents Delbert and Shirley Mullin.
