Sharon Kay Mouser Whited, 63 of Garfield TX went to be with the lord on May 27, 2023 in Austin TX. Sharon was born in Bertram, TX to Nita Woods and Jim Mouser on July 21, 1959. She married Earl Whited on June 12, 1976 on Whited Hill in Austin, TX. Sharon Whited was a bus driver for Del Valle ISD and Bastrop ISD. She also worked in the nursery at Austin New Church. She loved working with kids anyway she could; either driving them to school or taking care of them while their parents attended church. Sharon loved spending time with her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed time at the lake, camping, singing karaoke and playing her favorite game solitaire. Sharon is survived by her husband, Earl Whited; children, Beverly Ledesma and husband Joel of Lamesa, Jr. Whited and wife Marianne of Bastrop, Matthew Whited of Bastrop, Lisa Whited LaFrance and husband Charlie of Bastrop, Tiffany Hitchcock and husband Jacob of Austin; grandchildren, Alex, Isaiah, Aaron, Brayden, Ethan, Alyssa, Savannah, Andrew, Victoria, Eric, Lilliana, Patricia, Dylan, Emily, Hunter, Dacey, Henry and Delilah; Great Grandchildren, Micah, Baby Alex, Oliver, Layla, and Stephan. Eight sisters, four brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family. Sharon is preceded in death by her mom Nita, her dad Jim, her siblings, Debra, Polly, Alice, Jerry Dean and Jim Leslie. Sharon was a simple woman who gave her whole heart to others. She will truly be missed. Sharon’s message to the world was stay away from negativity, it will steal your joy. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with Interment following the service at Haynie Chapel Cemetery. Dinner will follow at Haynie Chapel.
