Sharon Ruth Smith

Sharon Stidham-Smith, 75, of Colombia MO, passed away on February 23rd of 2024, in Bastrop Texas.

Sharon Stidham-Smith was born in Colombia MO to Margret and Hubert Stidham on August 17th of 1948. She went to school in Colombia MO and Austin TX. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sharon Stidham-Smith was a loving mother. She loved to help people be the best version of themselves they could be. She loved learning and going to school. She loved painting and collecting artwork. She would go without to make sure her children had. She loved being outside and feeling the sun. She loved to make people laugh. She touched everyone she met.

Sharon Stidham-Smith is survived by former husband Richard Allen Smith, daughter Mackenzie Ford, Brother Steven Stidham, Sister-in-law Carol Stidham, son-in-law Erik Ford, non-biological daughter Janet Maynard, non-biological granddaughter Collen Maynard, non-biological granddaughter Stephanie Maynard, non-biological grandson Cody Maynard, and non-biological granddaughter Bailey Maynard.

Sharon Stidham-Smith is preceded in death by her loving parents Margret and Huber Stidham, her sister Carolyn Pennington, and her son Preston Smith.

In lieu of a memorial service please say goodbye to Sharon Stidham-smith in any way you see fit as she stated she did not want a funeral.
