Scott Dewayne Strong

Scott Dewayne Strong, age 36 of Cedar Creek passed away July 1, 2017.  He was born September 18, 1980 in Austin, Texas.  Scott was a loving Husband, Father, Son, and Uncle.  He enjoyed spending time with his wife and three daughters.  Scott was a simple man, he loved country music, and game night with Pastor Frank and Rose. Scott is survived by his wife Patricia; three daughters Samantha, Natalie, and Ruby; mother Ann Jackson; sister Kelly and husband Andrew; brother-in-law’s Eric and John; sister-in-law Sara; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Barbara Strong; father Dennis Yoeman; and grandparents Lloyd and Pauline Eller, Dudley and Milly Yoeman, and Charles Strong Sr. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, July 6, 2017, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.  Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:00am Friday, July 7, 2017, Red Rock Christian Church.  Burial will be private at Haynie Chapel Cemetery.
