Scott was the first kid in his small town to own a BMX bike, which fueled a lifelong love of cycling. As a young man, Scott opened his own bicycle shop, Wheel Suckers Bicycle, in Weare, New Hampshire.
Scott was a mechanical engineer by trade with degrees from the New Hampshire Technical Institute and LeTourneau University. Scott always worked hard to support his family and pursued positions of ever-increasing responsibility and personal challenge. Scott was recently hired as Director of Systems Engineering for Kapsch North America, his dream job.
On June 22, 1996, Scott married Chris Kelly in Orlando, Florida. One of Scott’s biggest joys in life was being a dad to his two wonderful children: Adriaen and Nathan.
Scott loved spending time with his family and friends, camping, cooking, and woodworking in his garage, but especially cycling. Most weekends you could find him out on his bike putting in a 20-30 mile ride.
Scott is survived by his wife, Chris Kelly; daughter, Adriaen (and her mother Kathy Giovanni); son, Nathan; parents, Fred and Shirley Curtis; sister, Diana Curtis and husband, Scott Bailey and their children Emma and Owen and his in-laws Jack and Anita Kelly.
