Sandy Castro

Sandy Castro Vasquez, 56, of Austin, passed away on August 21, 2023. Sandy was born in Austin, Texas to Mateo and Jesusa Castro on January 8th,1967. She married the love of her life Erasmo Vasquez in April 1992. Sandy was the founder of S.C. Concrete and ran her business for 20 years. She raised a strong, close-knit, family of six. Sandy is preceded in death by her mother, Jesusa Castro, father Mateo Castro, mother-in-law Mercedes Vasquez, sister Gloria Mares, sister-in-law Genoveva Vasquez, brother-in-law Armando Mares, brother Juan Martinez. Sandy is survived through her loving husband Erasmo Vasquez, her children, Suzanna Gonzales, Francisco Sillero and daughter-in-law, Hannah Means, Michael Sillero, Mitchell Vasquez, Erasmo Vasquez, Mercedes Vasquez and Angel Hernandez, her grand babies, Savannah Gonzales, Bellaluna Vasquez, Cataleya Vasquez and Athena Hernandez . And many loving brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Rosary will be Monday, August 28th at the residence of Sandy Vasquez and her family at 6:00 pm in Cedar Creek, Texas. Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 29th at 6:00pm at the residence of Sandy Vasquez Burial will follow at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 30th at Alta Vista Cemetery.
