Rosalee Phyllis Sublett

Rosalee Phyllis Sublett, 86, of Bastrop, Texas was welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord on August 31, 2024. Born on August 2, 1938, in Hildago, Texas to Hikko and Alma Brown, Rosalee lived a life filled with faith, family, and the joy of simpler things.

Rosalee was preceded in death by her parents, Hikko and Alma Brown; siblings Eugene Brown, Joan Folkerts, and Karen Guenther. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, William R. Sublett, a testament to their enduring love and commitment blessed by God.

Rosalee is remembered as a loving mother to her daughter Cindy Allison (Todd) and son William R. Sublett Jr. (Liane). Her memory will be cherished by her siblings; Douglas Brown, Loretta Shuttlesworth, Wanda Grosser, Sheila Bazar, and Theodore Brown. “Mamaw” (as she
was known by her grandchildren) leaves a legacy of love to her grandchildren; David Wright, Tabitha Henry, Britany Lloyd, Miracle Allison, Brittany Postalwait, Cody Sublett, Samantha Novosad, Kinsey Sublett, and Kayley Sublett. Her great-grandchildren; Kyleigh, Kannon, Kash,
Kennedy, Cayson, Brynlee, Willow, Jaycee, Stella, Xander, Xayla, Marlee, and CJ will forever hold her spirit in their hearts.

Those who knew Rosalee best recall her warm spirit and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. An avid sports fan, she cheered for her favorite football teams and fondly remembered her high school basketball days. She loved going on cruises with family and
friends. But above all, Rosalee treasured time spent with family, her love for them shining brightest.

Rosalee's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her infectious spirit, and the profound impact she had on the lives of her family and friends.

Rosalee’s unwavering faith guided her throughout her life, and it is in that spirit that we find comfort in her passing. While we mourn her absence, we rejoice knowing she is at peace in the presence of our Savior.

A memorial service to celebrate Rosalee's life will be held at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 SH-71E Bastrop,TX 78602, on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
