Ronald Wayne Nibbe

Ronald Wayne Nibbe, 64, of Bastrop, passed away on December 29th, 2023. Ron was born in Bennettsville, SC to Raymond and Barbara Nibbe on June 24th, 1959. He attended school in Bemidji, MN graduating from Bemidji High School.

Ron worked in the pipeline industry for 30 years at both Aconite and S.E.I. For pastimes he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family in Minnesota in the summer and Texas in the winter.

Ron is survived by his son Ronnie Nibbe (Mindy Kleeb), daughters Holly Schmitz (Jeff Schmitz), Becky Herring (Brian Herring) and Hannah Davis (Derek Davis); his sisters Joanne Bennington (Richard Wells) and Sandy Larson; his brother Raymond Nibbe; his grandchildren Trevor Kleeb,  Isaac Nibbe, Jordan Schmitz, Carson Schmitz, Keagan Herring, Aiden Herring, and James Davis; his special friend Sharron Campbell and his dog Rainy.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Barbara Nibbe, his brother-in-law Chuck Bennington, and his sister-in-law Kathy Nibbe.

Ron’s celebration of life will be on June 23, 2024 in Bemidji, MN.
