Robert Kelly Glass

Robert Kelly Glass, 50, of Elgin, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 doing what he loved, which was working with his brother Shawn. Kelly was a great man. Some knew him as Robert or Mr. Glass. Those that had the privilege of calling him Kelly, truly knew the man he was. Kelly had a hard life but pushed through it all.

Robert Kelly Glass was a licensed irrigator and owner of All Green Irrigation. He enjoyed the time he worked at Austin Pump and Supply. He had so many fun stories about the crazy adventures and he loved driving cross country doing other deliveries. Kelly would always tell of the adventures and scenery he would see along the way.

One thing one could say about Kelly is he loved his family and friends. He always showed that we were loved. Kelly loved with his whole heart. He would give the shirt off his back if someone was in need.

Kelly enjoyed working. He did that all the way until the time he passed. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, family gatherings, friends and dancing.

Robert Kelly Glass leaves behind a loving family that is made up of an amazing mother Mary L. Glass of Elgin, Texas; younger brother Shawn of Dale, Texas, two younger sisters: Coleen of Garfield, Texas, Carole (Tim & Tommy) of Garfield, Texas; four older sisters: Lynn of Pflugerville, Janie of Bastrop, Alonia of Georgia and Joyce of Georgia; Numerous nieces and nephews and cousin, Clifton Glass.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Dale Glass; Paternal Grandparents: Fielding Sneed Glass and Prudie Needam Glass; and Maternal Grandparents: Bert Bohannon and Kattie Jones Bohannon.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8,2020 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, Texas.

Services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with interment following services at Haynie Chapel Cemetery in Garfield.
