Rickey Clardy, 70, of Cedar Creek, Texas, passed away on August 9, 2020 in Kyle, Texas.
Rick was born in Austin, Texas to Earl Ennis and Rudie Clardy on January 1, 1950. He went to school at Travis Highschool. He married Nannette Campbell on July 12, 1975 in Austin, Texas. He graduated from Southwest Texas University.
He worked as a Purchasing Manager for White Swan and Butler Paper for many years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Navy and was considered an honorary Seal Team member, as he was asked to join the teams on missions due to his high-level security intelligence clearance. He was involved in Little League Baseball as a volunteer coach.
Rick is survived by his wife Nannette Clardy; daughter, Lisa & Kyle Keeney; son, Matt & Darby Clardy; brother, Dennis & Ginger Clardy; grandchildren: Zane Timpson, Kylie Timpson, Kara Purdy, Cooper Clardy, and Carsyn Clardy.
Rick is preceded in death by his beloved parents Earl Ennis and Rudie Clardy as well as his brother Earl Dean Clardy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
