Richard Allen Wilcox

Richard Allen Wilcox, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2018 surrounded by his family. Richard was born on October 22, 1952 in Knoxville, Texas, to Robert Lee Wilcox Sr. and Ella Belle Pace. On October 23, 1999, Richard married his love, Judy Lynn Cook. Richard owned his own welding business but found time to enjoy a few of his passions, fishing, fishing, fishing, and camping.  He will be greatly missed. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee Wilcox Sr. and his mother Ella Belle Pace; his brothers David and Carl Wilcox; and sister Nancy Wilcox.   Richard is survived by his wife of 19 years Judy Lynn Cook Wilcox; his children Chris and wife Lisa Wilcox, Chad and wife Debbie Wilcox, Richard Allen Willcox Jr., Ryan Wilcox and Shelby McCabe, Krystal and husband Cody Fritz; and son James Dartez. His brothers and sisters Rober Jr and Glenda Wilcox, Bobby and Linda Wilcox, Billy and Nancy Wilcox, Tommy and Sheilda Wilcox, Larry Wilcox, Jimmy and Connie Wilcox and Marsha and Tom Sisson. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Bartlett officiating.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
