After his honorable discharge, he returned to rejoin the family business. He and his brother George then decided to start off a new adventure and try to build a name of their own by moving to Oklahoma. Years later, he returned to Austin, where he began as a Security Guard, then as a sales clerk for Speedy Stop in East Austin.  Later he joined his brother Henry and began to work for the Distribution Company, Remitts Beer, which later was bought by Coors and he continued to work for Coors.  In his later years, Jaime and Felicita’s move to Bastrop is where they found their permanent home.   Jaime’s heart, soul and passion was for his family, especially his grandchildren.  He devoted his time to his family, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.  One of his favorite hobbies was to go fishing with his family and especially enjoyed fishing with his brother Henry.  There was never a quiet moment while James was around.  He would practically do anything to make the people around him laugh.  He could have you entertained for hours with his impeccable storytelling talents.  Listening to him tell the stories triggered your imagination to pull you into those stories, especially the stories of his childhood with his siblings and family.  Jaime loved to tell jokes and he always had a joke or more to share.   He is survived by his wife, Felicita Cuellar; daughters Crystal, Gloria (Jose), Anjelica (Jesse), and Anastasia (Briana); sons Guadalupe (Shirley), Joe (Letty), Augustine (Maria), Erik (Nikki), Luke (Marie), Eilario and Jaime Refugio; 11 Grandchildren with a 12th on the way; sisters Amy Lewis, Mary Helen Cuellar; and brothers George Cuellar (Esther), Henry Cuellar (Martha), and Baldomero Cuellar (Gabriela) as well as brothers and sister in law Nora Cuellar, Sacarias Herrera and Mario Vasquez.
