Ray Rivas age 64, resident of Bastrop, passed away on March 17th, 2024. He was born February 25th, 1960 in Lockney, Texas, Floyd County.
He loved to spend time with family and friends. Ray enjoyed working outdoors using his carpentry skills and as a construction worker. Fishing and hunting was his favorite outdoor activity.
Ray is survived by Christopher Rivas, Ray Rivas Jr, Noe Rivas, Norma Rivas, Becky Rivas, Ruth Rivas, Estella Rivas, Carolyn Rivas, and 9 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother Olivia Rivas, father Alex Rivas, brothers Arthur Rivas, Robert Rivas and sister Gloria Rivas.
Services to celebrate Ray Rivas' life will be held 1:00PM Thursday, March 28th. Friends and family will gather at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home during this time.
