Phillip Elia Thomas

February 23, 1965 — March 25, 2025

Bastrop

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Thomas, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who entered eternal rest on March 25, 2025, in Austin, Texas. Born on February 23, 1965, in Iraq to his loving parents, Theresa and Elia Toma, Phillip lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, and selflessness.

A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Phillip's unwavering faith guided every aspect of his life. He embodied love, humility, and generosity, always placing the needs of others before his own. Those who knew him were touched by his warm spirit, his gentle heart, and his steadfast devotion to his family and faith.

Phillip leaves behind his beloved wife, Sarah, and their children, Klodia, Lidia, and Joseph, who will forever carry his love and guidance in their hearts. He is also survived by his dear mother, Theresa, and his siblings, Salah, Sabeha, Foaad, Zuhair, Faiza, and Evan, along with numerous relatives and friends who were blessed to know him.

Though our hearts ache with his absence, we find comfort in knowing that he has found peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside service will be held to honor Phillip’s life at Fairview Cemetery on March 29, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
