Pearline Grace Miller

Pearline Grace Miller 66 of Cedar Creek, TX passed away Friday June 2, 2023 in ICU at Ascension Hays in Kyle, TX. She was surrounded by family and friends after a long illness.

Pearline Grace Castimore was born July 21,1956 in Sussex, NJ to Uzal “Dave” and Susan Castimore . She was very proud to be named after both of her grandmother’s.

In 1976 our family moved to Austin, TX where Pearline raised 3 children Mellisa Robinson (Eric), Alice Castimore and John Castimore (Amy).

She is survived by her 3 children, 5 grandsons Zaron Thomas (Ana), Cody Nails (Julie), Eric Robinson Jr, Reece Mitchell and Maurice “Moe” Mitchell. 8 granddaughters Zaynah Thomas (Fred), Jaycee Staples (Natalie), Erica Robinson, Anna Castimore, Jessica Castimore, Johanna Castimore and Jemma Castimore. Along with 8 great-grandchildren. Brother Ben Castimore (Yolanda), Sisters Susan Wiley (Myrl), Tarri Castimore, Robin Davis (Boyd), Sister In Law Kim Castimore all of Austin. Sisters Sandra Engstrom of Dover Foxcroft, ME and Stacey Thomas (Steve) of Lincoln, TX. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pearline was preceeded in death by her father Uzal “Dave” Castimore, mother Susan Castimore and brothers David Castimore and Martin Castimore.

Pearline worked as a waitress for many years and later was a heavy machine operator and worked harder than anyone.

Pearline was a kind gentle soul and never met a stranger in her life. Her sweet nature gave her the ability to make everyone she met feel like family and had a special bond with her.

Pearline was cared for and lived with Alice Castimore and her two grandsons Reece and Maurice “Moe” Mitchell who she had a special bond with as she helped raise them.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home Chapel
