Pearlie or “Nana,” as she was called more often, was an amazing person. She enjoyed her life and her job as a preschool teacher. She was blessed to be able to teach for more than 30 years of her lifetime. During her off time, she loved to travel with her husband of 41 years, Jim. Out of all their shared travels, Pearlie loved New Mexico and Bourbon Street in New Orleans the most. She was known to be the happiest during summer and the holidays when she had all the family there with her. Pearlie was quiet the hostess with food, drinks, and fun. You could expect things such as BBQ’s, horseshoe, darts, swimming, cornhole, volleyball, and many others. You could always count on a Pina Colada there waiting to be enjoyed together. Nana’s house was always an awesome time. Pearlie “Nana” will be missed dearly, but her legacy will live on. Best advice from Nana: “Never leave the house without lipstick and clean underwear!” We love our Nana.
