Patricia Anaya

Patricia Anaya, 55, of Paige, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2020 in Bastrop County, Texas.

Patricia was born in Onekama, MI. to Reyes and Maurilla Anaya on April 3, 1965. She went to school and graduated from Manistee High School, class of 1983.

She worked as an In Home Caretaker for the elderly in Paige, Texas for many different clients that had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. Anyone that knew Pati knew that the love of her life was her cat Casper and she had a huge heart for cats. She loved her children and her grand kids including her grand dog Samson.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her son Matthew Anaya (wife, Jessica Anaya), and daughter Hope Dykhouse (husband, Jake Dykhouse). Patricia will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Robert Dykhouse, McKenna Mummey, and Layton Anaya. Patricia was the baby of a large family. Brothers and sisters are Andy Anaya, Jose Anaya Sr., Martha Ehlers, Jaunita Vasquez, Lidia Loredo, and Margie Anaya.

She is preceded in death by brothers, Reyes Anaya Jr., Pedro Anaya, and sisters, Maria Anaya and Betty Flores.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m at First Baptist Church of Bear Lake, 10577 Chippewa Hwy. Bear Lake, Mi. 49614.. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m prior to funeral services.  Following the services there will be a light luncheon for those who want to attend. Burial will follow at Bertelson Cemetery in Onekama, MI. for immediate family and friends only.
