Odessa Lemuel

Odessia Lemuel, 96, Bastrop, Tx, passed away on June 26, 2021, at Bastrop Nursing Center.

On the 2nd of August 1924 Odessia was born to James and Seymore Haywood Jackson. She grew up in the Walnut Creek community and attended school in Bastrop county.

Odessia Lemuel is survived by 4 children: Betty Lemuel (Bastrop, TX), Alfred Lemuel (Cedar Creek, TX), James Lemuel (Cedar Creek, TX), Gwendolyn Lemuel (Austin, Tx). Sisters: Jimmy Mae Clark (Austin, TX), Willie Faye Davis (Bastrop, TX); 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great- Grandchildren, 3 Great Great-Grandchildren.

Odessia is preceded in death by Husband; Ersel Lemuel and siblings; Sylvester Jackson, Leatta Harrison, and Bernice Sanders.

Funeral service will be held at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church at 11:00am July 9th, 2021. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
