Nannette Mae Clardy, 72, of Bastrop, TX, passed away on 11/23/2021 in San Marcos, TX.
Nan was born in Fort Worth, TX to Glenn and Lillian Campbell on 11/18/1949. Her early childhood was spent growing up in Lubbock and then later Pasadena. She graduated from Sam Houston State with a degree in English and soon became a teacher at Brown Elementary in Smithville. She remained at Brown Elementary for 38 years before retiring. Nan met the love of her life, Rickey Clardy in San Marcos and married in July of 1975. Nan and Rickey eventually settled down in Cedar Creek in 1980 and raised their children there.
Nan's biggest joys in life were traveling, camping, frequent trips to the Texas coasts and being surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that adored her grandchildren. Always caring and taking care of others.
Nan is survived by daughter: Lisa Keeney and husband Kyle Keeney, son Matt Clardy and wife Darby Clardy, Grandchildren: Zane Timpson, Kylie Timpson, Kara Purdy, Cooper Clardy, Carsyn Clardy
Nan is preceded in death by parents Glenn and Lillian Campbell and husband Rickey Clardy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, 01/15/2022 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
