Megan Elizabeth Mendoza

Megan Elizabeth Mendoza, age 26, of Bastrop, was called home unexpectedly on Monday, June 10, 2019. Megan Elizabeth Mendoza was born in Austin, Texas on December 22, 1992 to Loretta Fritz and Travis Miller. She graduated from Smithville High School in 2011. She married Leonico Moreno Mendoza. Megan spent her time caring for her two sons, Jayden and Mikole. Megan enjoyed athletics, spending time with her family and friends. She fluently spoke multiple versions of the Spanish language through her own efforts. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, cousin and friend. She is survived by two sons: Jayden and Mikole Mendoza; husband, Leonico Moreno Mendoza; parents, Loretta and Bob Corbin; brothers: Christopher Fritz, Joshua Fritz, Brian Corbin and Jessie Corbin; sisters: Jasmine Corbin, Stephanie Kirmis and Melanie Marx;  grandparents: Patty Spielmaker , Sherry Moore and James Moore; uncles: Marty Moore and Timothy Moore; aunts: Samantha Blair, Rhonda Woolery, Robyn Tinney and Myra Grey;  thirteen nieces and nephews; one great nephew and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Travis Miller; grandmother, Patty Brown; grandfathers: Ernest Miller and Richard Spielmaker. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with services beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, Texas with committal following  services at Smithville Oak Hill Cemetery, Hwy 95, Smithville, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Fritz, Joshua Fritz, Marty Moore, Brian Corbin, Ryan Blair, Hunter Blair, Christopher Marx and Nathan Kirmis.
