Martin Rodriguez Pacheco, 48 of Cedar Creek, Texas passed on April 12, 2022, in a North Austin hospital after a long battle with bile duct cancer. Martin was born in Michoacan, Mexico to Marcos Rodriguez and Maria Rodriguez Pacheco on November 13, 1973. He graduated from Loyola University in Chicago and obtained his Bachelor’s in Biology and Master’s in Education. He worked as a bilingual Pre-K teacher at Cedar Creek Elementary (Bastrop ISD) for seventeen years. Martin was a wonderful soul who enjoyed all the wonders of life. His curious mind led him to a biology degree, and always encouraged others to keep on learning. He would teach whenever a lesson presented itself, and always lived life to the fullest. He wasn’t afraid to explore the world and traveled as much as he could and made countless friends along the way. No matter where he went and what he did, Martin always put family first. He organized family outings, vacations, and countless backyard barbecues. Many of our memories include family vacations that went really well or really bad, but we would always laugh and talk about these trips for years. Martin was a foodie, and no one ate bad food when he was around. He enjoyed tending to the garden and was always happiest on his John Deere accompanied by his 3 furry friends, Gabby, Amigo, and Ranchero. Always wanting to learn, he would read up to 2-3 books at the same time, and not be afraid to take up new hobbies. However, his favorite pass-time would be spending time with the family. Whether it was kayaking, watching movies, taking his many nieces and nephews to museums and aquariums, or just lounging around, his photo albums reflect all the good times he wanted to capture. Martin is survived by his parents Marcos and Maria. His siblings Graciela, Yolanda ,Jose, Adelina, and Eva. He loved his many nieces and nephews. Martin is preceded in death by his brothers Raul Rodriguez (1972-1990) and Jesus Rodriguez (1964-2016).
