Maria Carmen Tijerina 64 years old of Austin, Texas went home to be with her Christ Lord and savior Jesus Christ on September 24th 2021 in Austin, Texas.

Maria Carmen Tijerina was born to Amelia Tijerina and Vincent Tijerina on December 14th 1956.She attended AISD schools and attended High School at A.S Johnston High School and was also awarded Miss Personality award for Austin Parks and recreation as a teenager. She went on to work for Seton Hospital where she enjoyed her job as a housekeeper. She enjoyed attending church, playing cards with family, neighbors and anyone who thought they could challenge her. She loved playing Bingo but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a giving person with a big heart who opened her door up for anyone in need of anything especially her friendship. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and spouse of 23yrs. She also had 3 dogs and 1 cat that she loved dearly.

Maria Carmen Tijerina is survived by her spouse of 23 years Juan Yanez, Her three Daughters Katherine Williams, Katrina Williams and Kendra Williams. The father of her three children Johnny Williams, her Grandchildren Aubrion Williams, Torian Williams, Kamiyah Williams, Desiree Jones, Diamond Randle, Dior Randle and Amir Williams and Greatgrandchildren Kyron Williams Kehlani Williams.

She is also survived by her brothers Johnny Tijerina, Richard Tijerina, Vincent Tijerina Jr, Fermin Tijerina. Sisters Rachel Tijerina-Juarez, Paula Tijerina-Christ, and Cynthia Tijerina-Caballero and a host of nephews, and nieces.

Maria Carmen Tijerina is preceded in death by her beloved Mother and Father Amelia Tijerina and Vincent Tijerina. Her brothers Edward Tijerina, Felix Tijerina and her sister Crecilda Tijerina.
