Madison Thwing Blomquist

  Madison Thwing Blomquist, was born on October 22, 1937, in Georgetown, Texas, and died on February 12, 2019 in Bastrop County, Texas. He was born to George B. Blomquist, Sr. and Myrtice Williams Blomquist. He was a graduate of McCallum High School, Austin, and attended the University of Texas at Austin. He was a Realtor, a prolific storyteller, but his passion in life was golf. He is survived by his sister, Ann Blomquist Hood of San Antonio, and his dear friend and former wife, Carolyn Cromeans Bowles of Lake Austin. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, George B. Blomquist, Jr. of Lexington, N.C. and Howard W. Blomquist of Austin. A memorial gathering will be held at a date in the near future.
