Louise was born on September 6, 1922 to Frank D. and Eula White of Garfield, Texas. Louise during her lifetime saw horse and buggy days to men on the moon. She was a strong lady and a survivor. She went to work for the State of Texas when she lost her husband at a young age. With her parents help she raised their twin boys, two good men whom she was very proud of. When she lost her son Rodney to cancer that was another cross she had to bear. Being the strong pioneer lady she carried on with her faith in God.
She loved gardening in her gorgeous flower garden, cooking for her children and grandchildren and great grandsons. She had a green thumb and could grow any kind of plant or flower. On Sunday afternoons she would go to the SPJST Hall in Elgin dancing twenty five years ago and visit with her friends. Everyone loved to see her happy smile, always friendly and nice to people is the memories people have of Louise.
She is preceded in death by her parents Frank D. and Eula Martin White. Husband Ben Templeton and brother Frank W. White, sisters, Bernice White Boatright, Mary White Childress and son Rodney F. Templeton and wife Lea, nephew Weldon and niece Nelda Reyes. She is survived by her son Rodger Templeton, wife, Doris, grandchildren, Sheryl Templeton, Rick Templeton and grandsons, Aeron and Derick Templeton, niece Rosemary White Kalina, nephews, Clovis Boatright, and wife Ann, Dale Childress.
Everyone who knew her remembers her beautiful smile and gracious ways towards people. She made an impact on the lives she touched. Truly a strong gracious Texas lady. She will be missed by a lot of people even at her 98 years young.
