Lillie Bess Bowling

Lillie Bess Bowling, 85 of Bastrop, Texas passed away on April 3, 2019 to live with her Lord and Savior.

Lillie Bess was born on December 26, 1933 to George and Bessie (Smith) Rogers in Austin, Texas.

She enjoyed traveling and spent much of her time at church functions and with her church family at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bastrop.

She is survived by two daughters: Jo Ann Mills and Ruth Carter; two sons: Gilbert David Carter and wife, Susan and Stanley Warren Carter; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Lyn Carter and sister, Barbara Shisler and grandson, Scott Adam Carter.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rogers Hill Cemetery, 8325 FM 969, Austin, Texas.
