Klade Phillip Mitchell lived life to the fullest. He loved nothing better than spending time with his family and friends. He was a master electrician and owned a successful business in Boulder, Colorado before coming to Bastrop, Texas to live and help his mother. Klade Mitchell was a proud member of the Fort Yuma Quechan Indian Nation of Winterhaven, California. Klade rode his bike everywhere. He would laughingly say that, “I can ride a bike better than most people can walk.” He loved a good joke and to poke fun with everyone he met. Klade’s quick wit, happy smile and kind heart will be missed by everyone that knew him. Klade is preceded in death by his wife Tamara Mitchell, his daughter Mariah Mitchell, his father Harold Mitchell and three brothers Kelton Mitchell, Peter Mitchell and Cedric Mitchell. Survivors include daughters Allison Mitchell and Anastasia Mitchell of Colorado, mother Norma Mitchell of Texas, nieces Gabrielle McNiel of Tennessee, Makayla McNiel of Michigan, Hannah Gugel of Colorado and sisters, Polly Mitchell of Michigan and Sarah McNiel of Texas Klade’s last wish was to return to Colorado and his remains scattered upon the mountains he loved.
