Kevin Anthony Kieke, 57 passed away in his sleep at his home in Cedar Creek, Texas on December 3, 2018, after a long battle with numerous medical problems. Kevin was a 1979 graduate and long-time band member of Del Valle High School after which he joined the United States Air Force. He retired from the Air Force after over 20 years of service, during which time he served in Germany for 4 years, as a Tech Sgt. As a Highly Decorated Airman with a heavy background in Health Services Management and Law Enforcement, he then joined the City of Austin, Security Forces. His love of Service was highlighted again as he volunteered as a Fire Fighter and EMT, in the greater Austin, DelValle, Elroy, Cedar Creek and Bastrop area. Kevin is survived by his Mother, Elvira Becker, of Cedar Park Texas, his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of Texas and California, and members of the entire Kieke Family. He is preceded in death by his sister, Tandra Ann Kieke and his grandparents, Henry and Estella Becker of Pflugerville, Texas, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, 2:00 PM at the Walnut Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 12062 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas with longtime friend of the family, Pastor Don Long officiating. Services entrusted to Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
