Kenneth Norman Yarbrough Ii

Kenneth Norman Yarbrough II, age 63, of Bastrop, passed away on June 15th, 2024, peacefully in his home.

Kenneth Norman Yarbrough II was born in Lubbock, Tx to Beryl Beebe-Rachal and Kenneth Norman Yarbrough Sr. on December 23, 1960. He married Kathy Yarbrough on November 15, 2015, and they’ve had a beautiful life together since. He loved the outdoors. He was born with a fishing pole in his hand most would say. He was an extraordinary cook, always coming up with new recipes and always proud to cook for his family/friends. He was a family man; he taught his kids everything he knew so they could follow in his footsteps. He loved taking the kids fishing and hunting, or showing them how to make his signature gumbo, or playing with his granddaughter Adalynn who he adored. He served his country in the Army for 2 years; he was an escort for President George H. W. Bush on his daily jogs. After he served his country, he then went on to start his career in law enforcement in the early 1980’s. Later on in his career, he earned the title of Master Peace Officer, he served in law enforcement for a total of 42 years, most notably for Uvalde PD and Bastrop Police Department. He was the President of the Lost Pines Chapter LEMC Reguladores motorcycle club, his club's name was Coonazz.

Kenneth Norman Yarbrough II is survived by his wife Kathy, his son River, his daughter Mckena, his daughter Shiloh, his daughter Chyanne, his daughter Jessi, his son Decker, his son Cory, his son Coby. His granddaughter Adalynn and grandson Cayden.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 24th 2024 from 4-8pm at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday June 25th 2024 at 2pm at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
