Katy Lee Conrad

Katy Lee Conrad, 79, of Austin, was called home to be with the Lord on February 13, 2019. She was born in Gueydan, Louisiana on January 4, 1940 to the late David Nelson Fluitt and Anna Campbell.

In May 1960 Katy married the love of her life, Benny, and they enjoyed a wonderful 58 years of marriage together and raised 3 sons. She was a follower of Jesus Christ and her faith was a big part of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years 9 months, Benny Conrad ; her sons, David Conrad, Rob Conrad & Ben Conrad all of Austin, TX, her three brothers, Jerry Fluitt & his wife, Becky of Gueyday, LA; Norwood King Jr. and his wife, Corinda of Waxahachie, TX;  Calvin Fluitt and his wife, Brenda of Mountain Home, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Nelson Fluitt Sr. and the former Anna Campbell; her brothers, Robert Dale Fluitt, David Nelson Fluitt Jr., Burl Fluitt, and George Fluitt; and her sisters, Deanna LeMaire, Jo Agnes Murff and Mary Lou Smith.

Visitation will be held at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East Bastrop, TX on Saturday, February 16 from 1:00P.M. until 3:00P.M., with graveside services following at 3:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery, Bastrop TX
