Kathy Lynn Meinsen

Kathy Lynn Meinsen, age 63 of Bastrop, Texas passed away July 25, 2018. Kathy was born November 26, 1954 in Connecticut to Warren and Zella Rae Meinsen. Kathy proudly served her country in the U.S. Army. She then worked at Seton Medical Group and Starflight as a Registered Nurse. Kathy loved gardening, arts & crafts, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Zella Rae Meinsen; daughter Jaime Skidmore; and sister Robin Trevino. Kathy is survived by her son Jeffery Skidmore; daughter Charlye Redman; grandchildren Dakota, Dillon, and Seth Migues; brothers Steven Meinsen, and Warren Christopher Meinsen; nieces Michelle Douglas, and Nicole Meinsen; and great nephews Zachary, and Kaleb Douglas. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Congregation Beth Israel 3901 Shoal Creek Blvd., Austin, Texas.Interment will be held at a later date in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery of Corpus Christi, Texas.
