Karon Marlene King

Karon Marlene King, 67, of Bastrop, passed away on October 9, 2021.

Karon was born in Austin, Texas to William and Dollie King on February 22, 1954.

She enjoyed bride books, singing, eating at KFC and making a daily trip to McDonald’s for an ice cream, her Momma’s cooking and most of all spending time with her family.

Karon is survived by her siblings: Mary Eller (Orville), Virgil King (Elaine), Dickie King (Barbara) and Linda Macchia; sister in laws: Patsy, Betty Barbara and Annette and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Karon is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Billy King, Dorothy McMillin, Joe King, Richard King, Bobby King, Virginia Hamby, Polly Rasco, David King and Darlene King and brother-in-law, Geno Macchia.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, Texas

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McDade.
