Judith Ann (Schubert) Yoh, 77, of Bastrop, TX passed away on November 17, 2022, in Austin, TX.
Judy was born in Watertown, WI on January 28, 1945 to Robert and Arvilla Schubert. She graduated from Watertown High School and proudly married David W Yoh on October 12, 1963 at St John’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. Judy and David started dating in October of 1959
Judy was a very loving, charismatic, and beautiful person who will be missed by all that knew her. She loved being around people to participate in any topic initiated by the group. But, keeping up with current events was Judy’s passion. She enjoyed many hours watching news and could hold a conversation with anyone about what was going on in the world. Judy I love and miss you.
Judy was a devoted Lutheran and enjoyed watching Sunday televised church service. It was common for her to watch various religious programs from 10 am to 3 pm on Sundays.
She became a lifelong Clemson football fan while living in South Carolina. She watched every game, and was a very enthusiastic, animated, and vocal fan. She gave much excitement to the game: we loved her enthusiasm and knowledge of the game. Winning or losing, she never lost control of her emotions – she was a true Clemson Football Fan.
Judy loved to cook, having bookshelves full of recipes, but rarely used them. All useful recipes were locked away in her beautiful brain; she knew what she wanted and went about cooking for all. Her Wisconsin heritage was apparent in everything she cooked. One of her many favorite meals was Swiss steak which was always a source of conversation.
Judy is survived by her spouse of 59 years, David W Yoh, sons David L (Johanna) and Michael R (Nanette). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Alexandria (Alex) Maxwell, Jordyn Yoh, Olivia Yoh, Alexis Yoh and Tristan Yoh. She also had two great grandchildren, Lillian Maxwell and Gwyneth Maxwell. She is also survived by two sisters, Nancie Gallagher (Frannie) and Barbra Howland (Randy) along with many nieces and nephews. In addition, a special cousin Jo Ann Goergen.
Judy is preceded in death by her father Robert Schubert, mother Arvilla Schubert, and sister Patricia Williams.
The family of Judith Ann Yoh wish to extend our sincere thanks to Ascension Seton Hospital Bastrop and Ascension Seton Main Austin Hospital doctors, nurses and support staff. A special sincere thanks to all ICU personnel of Ascension Seton Main for care, professionalism and empathy provided to Judy’s family.
