Jose G Munoz

Jose G. Munoz, 63, of Bastrop, passed away on Saturday August 6 ^th surrounded by his loved ones in Bastrop, Texas.

Jose was born in Guadalajara Jalisco to Ezequiel Munoz and Micaela Murgia on August 15, 1958. He went to school in Guadalajara and resettled in Texas where he met Sandy in 2001 in Abilene. The family relocated to Bastrop and married in 2011. One of his proudest accomplishments was when he became a US citizen in 2018.

Jose leaves behind his wife Sandy, his children, Christian, Frank, Michelle, Esequiel, Nathan, Pearla, and Maria Rosario. He also leaves behind children in Mexico, Miguel Angel, Eduardo Cirilo, Fabiola, and Ericka Berenice. Jose had 8 sisters and was the oldest of 6 brothers. Jose will also be missed by his 20 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Ezequiel & Micaela, a brother Miguel Angel and a sister Maria del Refugio.

Visitation will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 16 ^th at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 16 ^th , Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
