Jose Luis Barrios

Jose Luis Barrios, age 57, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018, at home in Bastrop, Texas.Jose was born in Dimmitt, Texas, on March 19, 1961.He is preceded in death by his parents Santiago and Felipa Barrios and Silia B. Moraida.Jose is survived by his wife Rosalie (Benavides) Barrios; children Jaime Diaz, Audrey Stevens, Carol Torres, Erik Diaz, and Dolores Clarke; siblings Virginia Barrios, Patricio Barrios, Jose Guadalupe Barrios, Maria Milagros Flores, and Jose Enicio Barrios. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, August 20, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. in the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7 P.M., Eulogy to follow.  Catholic Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday August 21, 2018, at Ascension Catholic Church. A reception in the Parish Hall will follow the Mass. Visitation will continue at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home from 11:30 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.
