John T. Luna

John Torres Luna, of Cedar Creek, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Cedar Creek, TX John Torres Luna was born in Gregory, Texas to Jose Luna and Martina Torres on August 2, 1948. He married Stella Dominguez on October 5, 1968, in Austin, Texas

John Luna owned his own business called Luna’s Construction, where he worked in the construction field most of his life. He also enjoyed working on cars, playing cards, dominos and enjoyed spending time with his family. 

John is survived by his wife, Stella Luna; sons, Frank Luna, Alex Luna, Emilio Luna, Andrew Luna, Phillip Luna and Matthew Luna; daughters: Jennifer Luna-Gonzales and Connie Gonzales. He will also be remembered by his 45 Grandkids and 40 Great Grandkids.

John is preceded in death by his sons, John Luna Jr and Steve Luna

Friends are invited for the visitation on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 4pm - 8pm at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:30pm on the same night.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on February 21, 2025, at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery. Reception to follow at El Salon Sagitario Familiar, 179 Hokanson Rd, Del Valle, TX 78617.

Pallbearers will be Frank Luna, Alex Luna, Emilio Luna, Andrew Luna, Phillip Luna, Manuel Luna, Gerardo Martinez, Matthew Luna, and Ralph Gonzales.
