Joe (Gera) Arredondo Rocha Jr., 83 years old, of Austin, TX, passed away on August 9th, 2024, in Cedar Creek, TX

Joe was born in Austin, TX to Joe Rocha Sr. and Katarina Arredondo Gutierrez. He married Celia Vidal Rocha on July 29th, 1967, in Houston, TX.

Joe worked as a car painter for 32 years at AJ Foyt. Joe loved to spend his spare time watching westerns, Texas Longhorn Football, and baseball. Joe was famous for his BBQ and was always asked to make ribs at every family function.

Joe is survived by his wife Celia Vidal Rocha, daughters April Arzola (Robert), Peggy Rocha Torrez (Jeannie), Siblings David Campos (Carolyn), Hopie Torres, Virginia Deacon, Rosemary Ortiz (Robert), His Grandchildren Abigail, Chelcie, Keoni (Jennifer), Kekoa (Christina), Great Grandchildren, Leonora, Ally, Daniel and dog Nala.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Joe Rocha Sr. and Katarina Arredondo Gutierrez, numerous brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 6:00pm.

Funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
