Jim Wayne Hubble, of Paige, passed away on November 18, 2018. Jim was born in Lamesa, Texas on May 24, 1946, the son of Bob and Pascal (Smith) Hubble. He married Judith “Judy” Hann on April 19, 1973 in Midland, Texas.
Jim honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.
Jim’s passion was writing. He wrote a nonfiction book that he finished but did not have the opportunity to publish. Jim and Judith spent time together raising birds, chickens, fish, and most importantly their two wonderful sons. He also enjoyed working in the two family style, and one pizza restaurant they owned. He loved taking his sons fishing, coaching them, participating in Little League events, and was their biggest fan in all of their school sporting events as they were growing up.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons Jon Hubble and wife Linda, and Jeremy Hubble; and two grandchildren Preston and Hannah. He was preceded in death by his Parents; sisters Jan Havner and Cindy Ann Hubble.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 9:00a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
Graveside Services with Air Force Military Honors will be held 3:00pm Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop.
