Jose Villanueva

Jose de Jesus Villanueva, 59, of Red Rock , passed away on September 6 ^th 2021 in Austin.

Jose was born in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, to Simon Villanueva and Petra Lechuga on March 14,1962. He married Olivia Macias on October 1990.

He was a cheerful man who enjoyed classic movies, and talking with his family and friends.

Jose is survived by Olivia, David, Diana, Daniel, Guillermo, and six grandchildren. Also his four sisters, three brothers, and many nieces and nephews.

Jose is preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, and brother.

Visitation will be from 4-7, and rosary from 7-8 on September 9, 2021 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10AM Friday September 10, 2021 at Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop. Burial will follow at Old Red Rock Cemetery.
