Jerry Wayne Rosenberger

Jerry Wayne Rosenberger of Bastrop, Texas passed away in his home on December 19th 2022. Jerry was born in Guthrie Center, Iowa to Carroll and Dorothy Rosenberger on December 12, 1935. He married Sally Jo Rosenberger on August 16, 1957 at Panora Methodist Church in Panora, Iowa. Jerry worked in various positions at the Pinkerton’s National Detective Agency for over 27 years. He started with Pinkerton in 1961 as an Investigator and retired as the Assistant Area Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1989. He was also a member of the Grand Lodge of Iowa, AF & AM. Jerry loved growing his rose garden, watching football, and playing cards. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Dozier and son-in-law Michael Dozier, his sister Kay Leth, niece Natasha Rosenberger-Fetrow, his grandchildren, Angela Borgman (husband Barry Borgman) and Candace Dozier, as well as his great-grandchildren, Harlyn Dozier, Piper Borgman, and Briar Borgman. Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Sally Jo Rosenberger, and grandson, Nick Dozier. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
