Jeremy William Shoumaker

Jeremy William Shoumaker, 41, died January 9, 2018 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born September 2, 1976 in Apple Valley, CA. Jeremy was one of the kindest, most gentle people you’d ever meet. He was a welder by trade and a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved to ride.....rain, sleet, snow or shine. Jeremy is survived by his parents, Luther Shoumaker and Elizabeth Roberts, both of Georgetown, TX; his brother, Jason Shoumaker of Lakeway, TX and his sister, Misty Brotzman of Georgetown, TX. He also leaves behind two sons, Jacob of Round Rock, TX, Dominick of Marshalltown, IA, a daughter, Zoe of Cedar Creek, TX, a grandmother, Genevelyn Roberts of Cedar Creek, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Berry Shoumaker, Claudie Shoumaker, and Donald Roberts. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bastrop Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop, TX. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pm on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the funeral home. With a graveside service being held at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton, TX at 1:00pm, where he’ll be laid to eternally rest on January 13, 2018.
