Jennifer Livengood unexpectedly passed away on July 1, 2023 and passed peacefully during the night. Jennifer came into this world on a warm summer day in Austin, Texas, in 1979. She attended school in Leander, Texas beginning in Kindergarten in 1985 through her High School Graduation in 1997. She was baptized and confirmed in 1994 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Jennifer held jobs in different industries until 2009 when she stumbled into the Insurance industry. She began as a Receptionist and quickly moved up to handle Commercial Lines New Business accounts of all sizes. In 2021, she took a leadership position within her agency. after spending many years learning business and industry. Jennifer enjoyed sharing knowledge of how insurance works and took on mentoring several coworkers in various areas of the Insurance industry. Jennifer married Marcus Livengood on April 11, 2013 and was known to say that was the best decision she had ever made in her life. She always said marriage is hard but not when you are in love with your best friend. Together, they raised their daughter (Kaleigh). She also raised three amazing cats, Macey, Miles, and Marley. Jennifer's greatest joys were spending time with her daughter and her family, photography and gardening. She was a very involved advocate for Mental Health for people of all ages but spent the majority of her time working with parents and children that were struggling. Jennifer loved beach vacations and giving to others. Whenever someone in the community was struggling or needed help, she not only dropped everything to help them but also helped coordinate community efforts to support those in need. Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Helen Hoeflein and Ann and Fred (Gadberry) Green, cousins Joshua Rexroat and Quentin Green and beloved father-in-law Howard Livengood. Jennifer leaves behind the love of her life; husband Marcus Livengood (Bastrop, TX), daughter Kaleigh Harrell (Bastrop, TX), brother Ryan St. Clair (Brownsville, TX), her parents; Carolyn Hoeflein (Bastrop, TX), Bill Hoeflein and Jan Halverson (Austin, TX), bonus children; Graham Adamson, Cheyenne First and Jaci Washington (all of Bastrop, TX), mother-in-law; Delores Livengood (Smithville, TX), extended family Billy Livengood (Julie) (Bastrop, TX), Tara Livengood (Brian) (city, TN), Anne Marie (Metarie, LA), Lenny St. Clair (San Antonio, TX), Pat and Gene Valerio (Butler, PA), Mary Rexroat (Leander, TX), Marjorie and David Simpson (Kerrville, TX), Raymond Green (Bastrop, TX), Sandy Harrell (Fordland, MO), Ruth Cooper (Acworth, GA) and numerous cousins, friends and work family. The family would like to thank Bastrop Providence Funeral Home for their assistance and care during this difficult time. Memorial Service will be held at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home on July 22nd at 1pm.
