Jason Alfred Brent Stark

Jason Alfred Brent Stark was a father, loving son, brother and friend. He left this world on November 17, 2024 as a result from a sudden heart attack at age 50 in Austin, Texas, with his family by his side.

He was born as the third out of five children and first son to Donnie and Sandra Stark on August 1, 1974 in Bastrop, Texas. Growing up he spent most of his time learning and working on diesels motors. He attended and graduated from Bastrop High School. As an adult, he began his career as a truck driver. Clocking many miles and seeing many places. He welcomed into life three kids and several grandchildren. Jason enjoyed listening to music and being around his friends and family.

Jason is survived by his parents, Donnie & Sandra Stark; his siblings, Dondra Stark Carroll Carlson (Shiloh), Crystal Stark, Adam Stark (Kim), Hope Stark Brimm (William); his childern, Aaron Stark (Danielle), Corey Stark (Haley) and Emily Stark; his grandchildren, Kinslee Stark, Brantley Stark, Corey Stark Jr, Kelsey Stark, Delilah Stark, Atlas Stark, Thatcher Stark, and future arrival Edith Stark; his nieces and nephews, Marcus Carroll, Shane Carroll, Kodi Stark Norsworthy, Taylor Carroll, Justin Stark, Ashlea Carroll, Kaylee Brimm, Ethan Brimm as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.

Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfred and Edna Mae Bostick and paternal grandparents, Mary and Jake Stark, brother-in-law, Mark Carroll and nephew, Tyler Carroll.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday  November 23, 2024 at 12pm, with family welcoming friends beginning at 11am, at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 State Hwy 71, Bastrop, Texas, 78602.
