Hollas Clayton Hoffman passed away on February 5, 2024 in McDade, Texas. Clay was born in Austin, Texas, to Patsy and Hollas Hoffman on January 24, 1968. He grew up in several small towns but mostly in Smithville and Hallettsville. He graduated from Hallettsville High School in 1987. He went on to graduate from TSTC with a Safety Degree. He was in the Texas Army National Guard for 6 years. Clayboy loved his family and never missed a chance to brag on them. He was a huge lover of music. He enjoyed writing songs, playing the guitar, and singing country music. He loved to entertain family and friends, whether it be with a “Clayboy” original song full of hilarious lyrics or a funny joke he had come up with…. either way, he found joy in making people smile. Clay dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and lived life to the fullest. He had a heart that was unmatched. He cared deeply for others…. even if it was a stranger, he would never turn his back on someone. Loyalty was one of his most redeeming qualities. He loved sports and was a huge Texas Longhorns fan. He loved animals, especially his dog Bea.
He is survived by his father, Hollas Hoffman and stepmother, Margaret, his brother Dean Hoffman and sister-in-law Jennifer, his brother Heath Hoffman and sister-in-law Rachel, his nieces Shelby Hoffman, Kailey Hoffman, Kinley Hoffman, Haley Hoffman, Ali Forbes and nephew Reid Hoffman.
He is preceded in death by his sweet mother, Patsy Hoffman.
